CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting an IT Support Engineer on behalf of a world-leading UK manufacturer based near Guildford. Paying up to £42,000 plus bonus, this office-based, 35-hour-per-week role covers infrastructure, cybersecurity, internal IT and customer technical support. You'll join a small, highly technical team as it completes its move to Microsoft cloud services, so this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership and make a real impact.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Look after Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange and hybrid identity, plus the virtual server cluster and storage
• Help finish the Microsoft cloud migration and shape future infrastructure decisions
• Oversee updates, backups, disaster recovery, networking, firewall and Wi-Fi
• Build PowerShell scripts and automation to streamline administration
• Support staff and new starters, and help customers and overseas distributors with instrument and software queries
  
  

What Experience is Required

• Hands-on Microsoft administration: Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, Exchange, M365, Entra ID and Intune
• Experience with hypervisors, storage, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs), cybersecurity and backups
• PowerShell skills, ideally with cloud or hybrid migration experience
  
  

Salary & Benefits

Up to £42,000 plus bonus for a 35-hour week. You'll get full training on the company's instruments and specialist systems, and the chance to get involved in automation, locally hosted AI and R&D projects. The role also includes private health insurance and a generous pension scheme.
